Broken Heart, Breaking Habits

with Acharya Dan Hessey

In these days, many of us use Netflix to hide from our broken hearts.

In Buddhism our habitual patterns—which weave together to make what we call a “cocoon” in Shambhala—are seen as ways we insulate ourselves from our inherent genuineness. At the same time, our genuine heart of sadness is always longing to connect to our life more deeply. That broken heart can be the source of the inspiration and power we need to start to “definitely emerge” from being trapped in old habits and preoccupations.

All are welcome.  This program is being hosted by Atlanta Shambhala virtually via Zoom.  There will be sitting in meditation from 7:00pm to 7:30pm (EST).

Please register to receive the Zoom link. The program is free but if you wish to give a donation to the center you can do so at the registration page.
