Public Talk Friday July 22

On Friday evening July 22 at 7:00 pm, Shastri* Brett Ferrigan will host a discussion on “Creating Enlightened Society” based on the acknowledgement of our fundamental qualities of being human–that we all share the capacity for compassion and tenderness–as well as the obstacles of fear and selfishness. This talk is open to everyone. $10 suggested donation.

Brett will teach Shambhala Training Level I beginning on Saturday morning, ending Sunday afternoon. Level I is an introductory program and is open to everyone. Please register on our website.

Brett Ferrigan began as a student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, taking refuge in 1981, and completing Rigden Abhisheka with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche in 2009.  Serving as a Shastri under Sakyong Mipham, Brett is a certified yoga instructor and Chaplain, working with groups and individuals with compulsive and addictive behavior.  He leads yoga and meditation retreats nationally for recovery and general audiences.
